preparedness, community disaster education, mitigation, and
response that will provide the American people with quality
services delivered in a uniform, consistent, and responsive

| The NIIC will contribute
to the long-term economic development of the community by assisting
in the growth, development, and the success of existing and
early-stage technology companies and by orchestrating joint
applied research projects between the higher education community

| One of the state’s truly remarkable collaborative efforts is evident in the 13 county partnership of the Northeast Indiana United Way consortium. In the past few years, the consortium has utilized more than $200,000 in grant funds to increase marketing efforts and improve communications and practices with overlapping, or regional, workplace campaigns. |
