Auburn Gear, Located in Auburn, Indiana, is a leading manufacturer of traction-enhancing differentials used for automotive vehicles and machinery. The customers it serves are builders for automotive, truck, bus, agricultural, mining, forest, and marine industries. In order to meet the growing demand for its product and service information on the Web, Auburn Gear was led to Fort Wayne Web design and development firm Cirrus ABS.

Auburn Gear’s challenge to Cirrus was to create a distinct Web presence for each of its core business units, while still maintaining the company’s overall brand. Maintaining this image was significant because of the considerable equity Auburn Gear had in its brand.

Cirrus ABS rose to the challenge and provided a website that has become the market standard for Auburn Gear’s industry. The site is equipped with a comprehensive format that allows visitors to quickly access whatever information they are searching for. Using the Cirrus eBusiness Suite means Auburn Gear is able to update and customize the site’s content, which is necessary in order for Auburn Gear to remain current in its constantly changing industry.
