When the Fort Wayne – Allen County Airport Authority needed not one, but three separate websites, Fort Wayne Web design and development firm Cirrus ABS rose to the challenge. The Airport Authority manages both the Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) as well as the Smith Field Airport – also located in Fort Wayne – and needed a Web presence that represented all three of these companies with unique but unifying styles.
Cirrus ABS offered a solution that allows the Airport Authority to manage each of its three websites with ease. Each site Cirrus created allows the Airport Authority to post relevant pilot, flight scheduling, booking, and weather information.
Separate from the FWA and Smith Field sites, the Airport Authority website uses a client portal for customer documents, updates, and news.
All three of the sites use various Cirrus eBusiness Suite Modules such as the document module that allows them to keep airport-specific information on the Web. This includes rules and regulations, layouts, and standards of operation documents that each company keeps up-to-date. Most important, all of this information is accessible to the public in a way never before possible for the Airport Authority and the airports of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
