Fort Wayne Web design and development firm Cirrus ABS was contacted by The Fort Wayne-Allen County Economic Development Alliance to design a website. More specifically, The Alliance needed a website that not only let it take advantage of the latest technologies, but would also be easy to maintain.
The Alliance is a not-for-profit organization that has been focusing on economic development activities since 2000. Much of its work is dedicated to advancing employment in the county and serving as an advocate for the entire region. The Alliance specializes in working with foundations, organizations, companies, and individuals.
The Web solution Cirrus ABS provided is based on its custom LEDO Suite. This allows The Alliance to easily update and maintain its pages so it can stay current with changes in the community. The LEDO Suite includes features such as a Report Builder, Sites and Buildings pages, and Widget technology. The website is also equipped with foreign language landing pages and a board portal login for secure access to board-specific information.
A resource center tab is accessible no matter what page the visitor to the website is on, and provides quick access to news releases, events, and video libraries, as well as external links that are relevant to the city of Fort Wayne and surrounding areas.
