Fort Wayne, IN – Web design and development firm Cirrus ABS deployed its award-winning eBusiness Suite technology platform to create the website ecovantagewood.com for Advantage Product Company. This is a St. Joe, Indiana-based manufacturer that markets thermally modified premium wood systems for decks, patios, rails, siding, and other applications under the brand name EcoVantage.
Cirrus ABS further provided a custom website design, customized content architecture, professional copywriting services, and its own, proprietary NetCentered marketing strategy for the new EcoVantage site. The brand got its start after its owners had heard of a “new” Finnish way to treat wood. It’s called thermal modification, and in truth it isn’t new but centuries old, having been developed by the Vikings. Following a trip to Finland to tour sites featuring this thermally modified wood, EcoVantage’s owners brought the same treatment methods and technology back to the states. Here the technique of thermally modifying wood was largely unknown. The new website helps tout EcoVantage’s thermal modification capabilities and the benefits of its products.
