Kevin Mullett, director
of product development for Fort Wayne digital agency Cirrus ABS,
addressed “Social Media Failures and How to Avoid Them” at a second-day session
of the AllFacebook Marketing Conference in New York, Dec. 4 & 5. He was one
of just 15 international digital media and marketing professionals selected to
speak at the event. Also featured were more than 40 industry professionals
conducting various panel discussions.
Earlier this year, in
June, Mullett was a featured speaker as well as a panelist at the AllFacebook
conference in San Francisco.
The theme of the
December conference was “Putting Facebook to Work: Strategies for Marketing
& Monetization.” Mullett’s talk focused on the marketing aspect of the
theme, highlighting pitfalls that can trap unwary social media marketers and
prevent them from achieving the full potential of their efforts. The panel
discussions were concerned primarily with monetization.
In a career spanning
more than 20 years, Mullett has proven himself as a Web developer, Internet
marketer, public speaker, guest blogger, and award-winning designer. He has
personally designed and developed 300 or more custom websites. At Cirrus ABS,
