Fort Wayne Web design and development firm Cirrus ABS is pleased to announce that Kevin Mullett, its director of product development, is one of three speakers selected to address the student body at the March 14, 2012, Trine University Social Media Summit. The event is sponsored by the student chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). Students will gather at the Angola, Indiana, campus’s Fabiani Theatre for a dinner at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Summit at 7:00.
Mullett will talk about how one can use social media to create a “clean” online presence. “By that,” he says, “I mean an online presence that limits negatives – one that shows you in a positive light and won’t come back to haunt you with, say, a prospective employer. Since I’m on more than 500 social networks and test new ones weekly, I think I can bring some insight to this topic and make it especially relevant for students.”
A popular public speaker as well as a frequent Cirrus ABS seminar and webinar host, Mullett has a career that spans some 30 years. His background is in sales, marketing, design, Web development, and Internet technology.
