Fort Wayne,
IN – Web developer Cirrus ABS has just launched the LEDO Suite, a new online
marketing solution designed exclusively for local economic development
organizations nationwide.
Says Cirrus
CEO Matt Nickols, “In today’s economy, … it’s increasingly difficult for [local
economic development organizations] to attract business and compete online for
new opportunities. … The LEDO Suite changes that. It’s a low-cost alternative
to a completely custom site – yet it still gives local EDs a wide range of
incredibly sophisticated tools to market themselves successfully on the Web.”
He goes on
to say that, with the LEDO Suite, smaller economic development organizations
can now compete effectively with those far larger and having far greater
resources.
To develop
the LEDO Suite’s features, Cirrus ABS worked closely with a number of ED
organizations in Indiana and around the country. The experience of providing
the Web developer with input gave these EDs a preview of just how advanced the
program is. According to Nickols, “It’s the kind of program they’ve been
clamoring for, and many of them have expressed interest in signing up. They’re
spreading the word to other EDs, too, with the result that demand is already
growing.”
Such
industry acceptance isn’t new to Cirrus ABS. The Web developer has worked for
years with local economic development organizations. It’s also won various
awards for its ED work, including the prestigious Excellence in Economic
Development Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).
