When Fort Wayne company Deister Machine approached Kevin Mullett, our Director of Product Development and Social Media, about speaking at their annual sales meeting it started as a request to talk about LinkedIn and
social media marketing. What Kevin discovered after asking a few questions, was a larger opportunity to discuss the value of creating a solid online marketing base first. That base, he believes, is in the form of a
search engine optimized and tailored for conversion website.
While Kevin emphasized the increased importance of social media, he grounded that by explaining how customers validate companies they plan to do business with online. "Recommendation for a restaurant will likely be taken at face value. Recommendations for expensive equipment will be validated. Where do we go to do research these days."
