Dozens of manufacturing leaders from around northeast Indiana attended the inaugural Manufacturing Growth Symposium, an event designed to inspire manufacturers and empower them with tools to bring their new innovations to market.
The Northeast Indiana Innovation Center's CEO
Karl LaPan kicked off the event with a great introduction followed by a presentation on managing innovation by the Innovation Center's Director of Programs
Steve Franks.
John Sampson, president of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, shared how elements of the community are collaborating to grow a talented workforce and adjust to a highly competitive marketplace.
Mark Burke with Cirrus ABS presented material about how to use technology to effectively market new innovations. Following his presentation were case studies by
Tim Litton from WaterFurnace International and
Nick Bond from Russ Moore Transmissions on how they've used these technological innovations to effectively market their products.
