Cirrus ABS is seeking a talented Front-End Web Developer to help take our industry-leading local marketing platform MarketSnare to the next level. What we are Looking for in a Front-End Web Developer:
- The ability to build a website from concept design through wireframing, mockup, and development
- Experience in responsive and mobile-first design
- Understanding the roles of UI and UX in design and development
- Experience working with cross-browser compatibility
- A passion for detail and solving problems
- A passion for continual learning and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
- Individuals with strong communication skills
Technical Skills Required for this Position:
- Solid front-end development skills including proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Knowledgeable of preprocessors such as Sass or LESS
- Ability to build a webpage from a concept to completion
- A passion for creating user interfaces, site navigation, icons, logos, banners, etc.
- Adobe Creative Suite or Sketch proficiency
- Understanding of best SEO coding practices
- An understanding of a future web that will be semantic and accessible
- 1-3 years of experience working in the web industry
Additional areas of expertise that would benefit this position:
- Experience with MySQL and PHP
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or Team Foundation Server
- Working knowledge of Ajax and JSON
- Working knowledge of task runners such as Gulp or Grunt
- Working knowledge of front-end JavaScript Frameworks (MVC/MVVM)
- Working knowledge of CSS methodologies
- An understanding of the Schema.org vocabulary using RDFa and JSON-LD
- Knowledge of XML and XSLT
