Web Designer/Web Developer
We’re looking for a talented front-end developer - someone who can turn a concept into a fully functional HTML website and create site navigation and user interfaces as well. If that’s you and you are self-motivated, possess good communication skills, are a problem solver, and have a strong work ethic, then we want to talk with you. Our Ideal Web Developer Candidate Will Possess:
- solid front-end development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- the ability to design and build Web pages from concept to finished HTML code
- the skills to create user interfaces, site navigation, icons, logos, banners, etc.
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- excellent knowledge of jQuery
- knowledge of XML and XSLT
- basic experience in .NET utilization (not development)
- an understanding of best SEO coding practices
- excellent communication and collaboration skills
- the ability to work at a fast pace and within deadlines
- the ability to follow directions yet work independently
Score bonus points if you possess:
- database experience (Access & MySQL)
- experience in Flash/Actionscript development
Education and Experience
- 2-year or advanced degree in Graphic Design, the Web, or a related field
- minimum 3 – 5 years of related experience, ideally in a Web development firm or an advertising/marketing agency
